What is Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy at Vitality Village harnesses the healing power of touch to relax muscles, reduce tension, and promote overall well-being. Our skilled therapists offer a variety of techniques, including Swedish, Deep tissue, Shiatsu, Lymphatic and Thai massage, tailored to your preferences and therapeutic needs.
Swedish+ Therapeutic Massage:
Our Swedish+ therapeutic massage combines the soothing techniques of traditional Swedish massage with individualized techniques including deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to optimize your overall benefit. This comprehensive approach uses long, gliding strokes, kneading, and circular motions to relax the entire body and target specific muscle groups and fascial lines for a deeper, more effective therapeutic effect.

Shiatsu Massage:
Shiatsu massage, a Japanese bodywork technique rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, dates back 5,000 years. The term "Shiatsu" translates to "finger pressure" and involves using thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, and sometimes feet (Ashiatsu) to stimulate points along energy pathways called meridians. This practice aims to balance the body's energies and accelerate natural healing processes by addressing blockages and accumulated stress.
Lymphatic Massage:
Lymphatic massage is a gentle technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph fluids in the body, helping to reduce swelling, detoxify the system, and promote overall wellness. This therapy is especially beneficial for post-surgical recovery, chronic conditions, and enhancing immune function. Experience the revitalizing effects of lymphatic massage and support your body's natural healing processes.
