What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture at Vitality Village harnesses the ancient art of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to promote natural healing and restore balance within the body. By inserting thin needles into specific points along fourteen meridian channels, our licensed acupuncturist addresses physical, emotional, and mental health concerns, facilitating the flow of vital energy known as Chi.
What is Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM)?
FSM is a cutting-edge treatment using micro-amperage current and the resonance effect of frequencies on tissues to reduce symptoms and promote healing. This sub-sensory therapy harmonizes with the body's tissues, providing pain relief, stress reduction, immune support, and overall vitality.
What to expect during your session:
Acupuncture:
-
Thin needles inserted into specific acupuncture points on the body.
-
Needles are retained for 20-40 minutes to support natural healing and relaxation.
-
Promotes Chi flow and balances energy throughout the body's meridians.
Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM):
-
Uses micro-amperage currents and resonance frequencies to treat symptoms.
-
Sub-sensory microcurrent is often not felt by the patient.
-
Induces feelings of warmth, relaxation, or even sleep during treatment.
-
Harmonizes frequencies with body tissues to enhance healing and well-being.
The Resonance Effect:
-
Resonance occurs when frequencies harmonize with body tissues.
-
We have all experienced this: It is similar to everyday experiences like when we hear particular music and feel relaxed or have an emotional response.
-
FSM utilizes resonance to support healing and restore balance in the body.

Client Testimonial
Acupuncture and FSM
From my first appointment with Sue, I knew I was in excellent hands! Her vast experience and knowledge of all the Body Systems and their connectedness really allows her to facilitate positive shifts in Health. I personally have had significant and long-lasting improvements with some very complex conditions. One example is that Fibromyalgia is no longer the “symptom” that it once was, which is amazing. Sue listens intently and tracks feedback/results carefully- I can always count on Sue’s expertise and she is an important part of my Healthcare team!
